Q: How did the trip to Brazil bring you guys together as a team?

A: "Since we have newcomers it helped us figure out who we play best with. We split into two teams and got a chance to play with everyone. Off the field we just bonded"

Q: How is this season different than last season?

A: "We have good chemistry this season. We play for each other. It really helped that we were all here over the summer we got to know each other and with us being together so much it gave us better chemistry"

Q: What are your goals for the team this season?

A: "We need to go into the Big 12 with a good record. We need to work together and have consistency. We need to go out and do the things that we need to do in order to win games."

Q: How does it feel to start the season 4-0?

A: "It really raises our confidence. We know that we can win games. The biggest thing is that we had to work for the wins and with that bring confidence and knowledge that we can beat great teams"

Q: What does it feel like to be named to the Nike Invitational All-Tournament Team?

A: "It's really good to have the recognition and know that people notice your hard work on the field but I couldn't have done it without my teammates. No one person stands out on this team and if I had it my way the whole team would have got the award"

Q: How do the freshmen fit in with the returning players?

A: "The freshmen are really fitting in well. I think that it really helped that they were around during the summer and now there transition in game situations isn't as hard. It would have been different if they weren't here over the summer. Personality wise they're awesome."
