The 2002 Missouri Volleyball Media Guide was voted the "Best in the Nation" by the College Sports Information Directors of American (COSIDA). The cover was also recognized as the "Best in the Nation."

The 2002 Media Guide was written and designed by Assistant Media Relations Director Sam Fleury. Covers, recruiting section and divider pages were designed by David Knight of the MU Academic Support Center.

Additional assistance was provided by Media Relations Director Chad Moller, Assistant Media Relations Director Josh Murray and Director of Volleyball Operations Melissa Everitt.

Earlier this year, the 2002 Missouri Volleyball poster, designed by David Knight, received a CASE Division VI Gold Award for Excellence in Graphic Design.
