COLUMBIA, Mo. - University of Missouri tennis palyer junior Urska Juric was selected to compete in the field of 64 at the 2003 NCAA Division I Women's Tenis Individual Championships, the NCAA announced this weekend. In addition, Juric and doubles partner, sophomore Katka Sevcikova were chosen to compete in the 32-team NCAA Doubles Championships.

The two championships are scheduled for May 19-24 at Linder Stadium at the Ring Tennis complex on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville, Florida. This season Juric is 25-7 overall at #1 singles and is currently ranked 36th in the country in singles play. Juric and doubles partner Sevcikova are 24-4 on the season and ranked 15th in the country in doubles play. Both Tigers were named first team All- Big 12 forthe first time in their Big 12 playing campaigns.

The 38th-ranked Tiger team takes on #21 Notre Dame this Friday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday.
