GAINESVILLE, FLA. - The University of Missouri tennis team season ended today with the Tiger doubles team of Urska Juric and Katka Sevcikova losing to Jennifer Magley and Zerene Reyes of Florida in the second round of the NCAA Tennis Tournament in Gainesville, Florida. The duo finishes the year with a 25-5 record and were, earlier this season, ranked #4 in the nation.

Juric and Sevcikova lost the first set 6-1 and were never in that set. The Tigers were a point away from going up 4-3 in the second set but their serve was broken and the team of Magley and Reyes went on to win the set 6-3. Juric and Sevcikova won their opening round match over the team of Alice Sukner and Jessica Johnson of Marshall 6-2, 6-1.

Juric and Sevcikova were both named first team All-Big 12 and led Missouri to their first ever NCAA Tournament bid.
