Rain has forced the cancellation of the Missouri and Texas softball game, which was scheduled for Sunday, as announced by Head Coach Ty Singleton Sunday morning. The game will not be rescheduled.

The Tigers defeated the Longhorns on Saturday 1-0 in the first game of the two-game series. With Saturday's victory, Mizzou is now 22-13 on the season and 5-2 in the Big 12 Conference.

Missouri will be on the road on Tuesday for a non-conference doubleheader against Southwest Missouri State University. Game one will begin at 3 p.m. in Springfield, Mo. MU returns home on Thursday for a doubleheader with Iowa State. Game one on Thursday will also start at 3 p.m.
