The University Of Missouri Department Of Athletics announces it will hold its annual "Truman the Tiger" tryouts on the weekend of May 1-4, 2003. All the events associated with tryouts, will be held at the Devine Indoor Football Pavilion located across Providence Road from Faurot Field/Memorial Stadium

The tryout process will begin with a mandatory informational meet on Thursday, May 1 at 4 p.m. The weekend's activities will continue on Saturday with a clinic scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Sunday will conclude the weekend with tryouts beginning at 1 p.m. The participants will be asked to interview with the panel of judges, perform to the Fight Song, and perform a two-minute original routine/skit.

Those interested in becoming Truman must be enrolled as a full-time student at Mizzou, maintain a minimum 2.0 accumulative GPA, and set a good example of sportsmanship, enthusiasm and cooperation for the University at all times. Being a member of the Spirit Squad will require time, dedication, the ability to travel, and some personal expense.
