COLUMBIA, Mo. - The first two games of Missouri's 2003 home schedule - set for Tuesday against Central Methodist, and Wednesday vs. Lindenwood - have been cancelled due to the several inches of overnight snow, Head Coach Tim Jamieson announced today.

Neither game has been rescheduled, but every attempt will be made to do so. The cancellations bring the total for the Tigers this season to five, as three games were rained out in Phoenix two weekends ago.

With the cancelled games, Missouri's home opener is now currently scheduled for this Friday against Youngstown State, when the Penguins will come to Taylor Stadium/Simmons Field for a four-game series. Two seven-inning games are scheduled for Saturday, with the fourth game to be played Sunday afternoon.
