PHOENIX - After consultation between tournament officials and the competing teams, an updated schedule has been released for the Rawlings/Oakland A's Spring Training Tournament after heavy rains forced cancellation of the first day of play:

Because of the rescheduling, the Tigers were able to add a second official game with BYU in place of its scheduled exhibition with the University of British Columbia, for a total of five official games this weekend. The only game not affected by the shuffling of the schedule is Sunday's 10 a.m. game with Northwestern.

The schedule results in back-to-back doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday. It will be the first doubleheader for the Tigers since splitting a pair at Texas A&M last April 27.

The games are being played at the Oakland A's spring training facility in Phoenix.
