
Tigers Fall in First Round of Big 12 Championships

The University of Missouri women's tennis team fell to Oklahoma State 4-1 in the first round of the Big 12 Championships on Thursday in College Station, Texas.
The Tigers won the doubles point by taking two of the three doubles matches. Junior Kristina Olshanskaya and freshman Lucie Ruskova defeated Ashleigh Dolman and Gorana Marsic 8-5 and freshman Mary Barry and senior Caitlin Thompson defeated Dominka Olszewska and Kate Vasylyeva 8-4.
Oklahoma State then won four singles matches to clinch the overall victory. The other two singles matches were stopped once OSU clinched the win.
The Tigers finished the year with a record of 10-12.
