Missouri Stands in Eighth at Big 12 Championships

The Missouri women's golf team is in eighth place after the first round of play at the Big 12 Championships at Colbert Hills Golf Course in Manhattan, Kan. The Tigers recorded a team score of 321 on Friday. Oklahoma State leads after shooting a first round score of 293.
Missouri senior Nisha Sadekar leads the Tigers individually, carding a 77 in Friday's first round. She stands in a tie for 17th individually. Junior Elin Ohlsson and sophomore Tara Jacobsen each recorded scores of 80 on day one, placing them in a tie for 31st. Freshman Maria Ohlsson turned in an 84 while freshman Mindy Bullard finished with an 86.
The second round will be played on Saturday starting at 8 a.m. with the final round taking place on Sunday.
