COLUMBIA, Mo. - University of Missouri junior forward Evan Unrau (Fort Collins, Colo. / Rocky Mountain HS) was named to the Flint Hills Resources Islander Classic All-Tournament team, organizers announced late Saturday night.
It is the second such honor of Unrau's career, as she was tabbed as the Most Valuable Player of the 2001 Unilever Tiger Classic last year.
In Missouri's two games at the tournament, hosted by Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Unrau averaged 16 points and seven rebounds. She had 16 points in each of the Tigers' two losses, and had eight rebounds vs. SMU and six vs. Louisiana-Lafayette.
Mizzou returns to action this Friday and Saturday, Dec. 6-7, to host the 25th annual Unilever Tiger Classic at the Hearnes Center. The Tigers will face McNeese State in the first round at 7 p.m. on Friday, and either UMKC or Austin Peay on Saturday at 7 p.m. UMKC and APSU will open the tournament at 5 p.m. on Friday.
