COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Missouri women's basketball team will hold its annual "Brewer Breakfast" this Saturday, October 26, as part of the day's Homecoming festivities. The event kicks off at 8 a.m. at Brewer Fieldhouse, part of the Student Recreation Center, on the MU campus.

As the first public practice of the 2002-03 season, "Brewer Breakfast" is a chance for Missouri women's basketball fans to get an up-close look at this year's Tiger squad. A pancake breakfast will be served at Brewer from 8-9:30 a.m., and it will coincide with an intrasquad scrimmage.

Because of the expected congestion from the morning's Homecoming parade, fans attending Brewer Breakfast are encouraged to arrive early and park in the Virginia Avenue parking structure, located east of the Student Recreation Center.

Season ticket packages for the 2002-03 home schedule are now on sale at the Tiger Ticket Office. Fans may stop by the Hearnes Center, or call 1-800-CAT-PAWS (882-PAWS in Columbia). The exhibition season starts Sunday, Nov. 10, against the Basketball Travelers, with the home opener set for Tuesday, Nov. 26, against Bradley.
