Columbia, Mo.- Fans of University of Missouri men's basketball will have their first chance to watch the 2002-03 version of the Tigers on Saturday morning. Mizzou will host its annual Black and Gold Game in the Hearnes Center with tip set for 10 a.m.
Coming off of a spectacular Elite Eight run in the NCAA Tournament last season, juniors Rickey Paulding, Travon Bryant, Arthur Johnson and Josh Kroenke look to lead the Tigers back to the NCAA tournament with an up-tempo, high-energy brand of basketbal1.
Admission to the event is $5 and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Columbia. Tickets are available for purchase at the Hearnes Center box office or by calling 1-800-CAT-PAWS or 884-PAWS in Columbia. Season tickets for MU men's basketball are also available via the same route.
Following the scrimmage, the Tiger football team will continue its longstanding tradition of Homecoming against its fiercest rival, the University of Kansas, with game time set for 1 p.m. For more information on Tiger athletics, log on to www.mutigers.com.
