Kerensa Barr on the start of the game:
"I thought we came out and our intensity was really good. But then we couldn't score. I think there was a lid on the basket, at least for me.
On how the game turned out and Texas: "It was really, really physical. I was trying to get to the foul line and couldn't get there. That's just part of it. We don't make excuses. We just needed to try and find other ways to score. We knew they had a lot of weapons and couldn't focus on a certain player. We weren't able to overcome what happened to us at the end of the first half."
Cindy Stein on the game's start:
"I thought we did come out strong. Basketball is a game of adjustments. Obviously, they made some adjustments and we had to make adjustments back.
Texas came back. Basketball is also a game of runs and Texas made a great run."
On the end of the first half:
"I'm really disappointed with the last three minutes of the first half. I felt we had a letdown mentally as well as physically. We couldn't buy a bucket and we had some good looks, too."
