The Missouri Tiger volleyball team won the Quality Inn Tiger Invitational, by defeating Eastern Illinois on Saturday 3-0 (30-18, 30-10, 30-17). The Tigers were 4-0 in the tournament. Shen Danru was named the tournament MVP, while Christi Myers and Lindsey Hunter were also named to the All-Tournament team.

Myers had 16 kills, followed by Danru with 13 and Lisa Morris with 11. Hunter had a game-high 47 assists for the Tigers.

In MU's first match of the day, the Tigers picked up a 3-0 (30-28, 3-19, 30-21) win over Arkansas Little Rock.

Myers led Mizzou in kills with 14, followed by Mary Lauren Smith with 13 and Danru with 12. Danru also led the team in digs with 12 and Hunter had 47 assists.

Other results from Saturday included Arkansas-Littler Rock defeating North Carolina State 3-0, while San Diego State defeated Eastern Illinois 3-0 and North Carolina State 3-1.
