Tigers Hold Day Two of Preseason Camp

Aug. 11, 2002

The University of Missouri football team held its third practice of the preseason on Sunday morning. The Tigers, after holding two practices on Saturday, took the field only once on Sunday.

The Tiger offense continued work on their passing game and showed improvement as the quarterbacks and receivers connected for several long receptions.

Also a focus of Sunday's practice was the punting and punt block. Brock Harvey and transfer Todd Gohsler each took turns as punter, each getting off impressive kicks.

The Tigers will hold two practices on Monday. Their first game is less than three weeks away when they face Illinois in St. Louis at 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 31.
