Missouri Junior Elin Ohlsson has been named to the National Golf Coaches Association 2001-02 All-Scholars team. Ohlsson is an Industrial Engineering major with a 3.51 GPA.

Ohlsson was the Tigers' top performer all season and advanced to the NCAA Central Regional, finishing in a tie for 27th place out of 108 golfers. She had a 78.05 strokes per round average and finished in the top 20 in four of MU's six spring tournaments. Ohlsson was also given the Johnie Imes Award as the team's MVP for the season.

She received academic recognition earlier in the year when she was named to the Academic All-Big 12 Team.
