Missouri Track & Field's Ann Marie Brooks has been selected as one of ten athletes to make the Verizon Academic All-American Women's Track and Field First-Team.

Brooks graduated in May with a cummulative grade point average of 4.01, and finished her collegiate career as a four-time All-American in track and cross country. Brooks will compete at the USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships in the 5,000-meter run.

Brooks was a Verizon Academic All-American last year to bring her grand total to six career Academic All-American honors, and she is a two-time GTE Academic All-District selection as a Tiger.
