Columbia, Mo.- University of Missouri Men's Basketball Coach Quin Snyder announced on Wednesday that freshman guard Duane John has been dismissed from the Missouri Basketball Program and will transfer at the end of the semester.

"We are saddened by this decision and wish only the best for Duane in the future, both athletically and academically," Snyder said. "We value the confidentiality that we maintain with our student-athletes and thus will not be commenting further on the specifics of this matter."
