COLUMBIA, Mo. - Missouri, which has won its past three outings, plays Saint Louis in the third-annual wood bat game.

Records: Missouri is 19-19 this season while Saint Louis is 15-21.
Last Time Out: Behind back-to-back four-hit games by Mick Weiss, Missouri picked up 16-10 and 14-4 wins over Kansas on April 21 in Lawrence, Kan. Weiss was 8-of-10, hitting five doubles and a grand slam in the two games. The Big 12 Conference series was a two-game affair after play on Friday and Saturday was rained out. Justin James tossed Missouri's first complete game of the season in the 14-4, eight-inning victory.
MU/Saint Louis Series: The Tigers have won the past 11 meetings and leads the series, 62-16. The Tigers have recorded a 5-3 win in 2000 and a 4-2 win in 2001 in the first two wood bats games.
Last MU/SLU Meeting: Derek Roper picked up his first win as a Tiger while MU had six extra-base hits (15 hits total) in the 11-4 win over Saint Louis at Taylor Stadium/Simmons Field. Jody Roughton had three hits and three runs batted in during the contest.
Mr. Multi: While Lee Laskowski leads the Tigers with 20 multi-hit games, Mick Weiss leads MU with three four-hit contests. Weiss also leads the Tigers with two games of five-or-more runs batted in. He drove in five runs in MU's 14-4 win over Kansas on April 21 after hitting three doubles and a grand slam in the contest.
Off And Running: The next stolen base for Jayce Tingler will tie him with Dave Silvestri (1986-88) for fourth place on MU's all-time career chart with 47 stolen bases. Tingler, who enters the week with 46 career swipes, could also crack the program's all-time Top 10 charts this season in walks, hits and runs scored. He is one walk shy of tying for 10th place in that career category.
