Columbia, Mo. - The University of Missouri Athletic Department and the MU Alumni Association, in conjunction with the Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau, invite MU alumni, fans and friends to meet with Tiger coaches and administrators when the Mizzou Caravan gets underway next week.
The week-long promotional tour includes stops in Moberly (April 23), Kirksville (April 23), Mendon (April 24), St. Joseph (April 25) and Jefferson City (April 29).
Each Caravan event will feature a speaking program by Tiger Athletic officials along with lunch, dinner or social hour opportunities to meet and greet MU representatives. Several Tiger coaches, including Football Coach Gary Pinkel, Men's Basketball Coach Quin Snyder and Women's Basketball Coach Cindy Stein, are scheduled to be at various stops, as well as Director of Athletics Mike Alden, and other MU officials. All events will be emceed by Mike Kelly, known as the Voice of the Tigers.
Mizzou fans can pick up Tiger football ticket information at the events. Persons attending will also have the opportunity to purchase Tiger merchandise and souvenirs from the Tiger Team Store, official Memorial Stadium/Hearnes Center vendor.
