Missouri junior Elin Ohlsson was named to the Academic All-Big 12 first team as announced on by the Conference office on Tuesday.

Golfers with grade point averages of 3.20 or better earn first team honors. Ohlsson is an Industrial Engineering major at MU and is a native of Vetlanda, Sweden. She has led the Tigers this spring with a 77.8 scoring average and three top 15 finishes, including an eighth place finish at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational.

The Tiger golf team will take part in the Big 12 Championships starting this Friday in Manhattan, Kan.
