FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Russ Bell earned his second career All-American honor Saturday, placing fifth in the men's 35-pound weight throw. Bell's mark of 71-3 is his personal best for the Jefferson City, Mo., native.
"Russ did great," assistant track coach Brett Halter said. "To have a personal best at the NCAA Championships is huge."
Senior Micah Shanks just missed earning All-America status, placing 12th with his mark of 66-5.25.
