
Tigers Win 11th Dual

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - The University of Missouri women's tennis team picked up its 11th win of the 2001 season Thursday, downing Cal State Northridge 5-2.
The Tigers improve to 11-5 overall and 2-5 in Big 12 Conference action. The Matadors, members of the Big Sky Conference, fall to 14-6
The 11 dual wins of the season set a school record, topping the previous best of 10 set in 1999.
The Tigers won four of the six singles matches in addition to winning the doubles point.
Missouri will face Cal State Fullerton Friday before returning home to take on Oklahoma State (April 4), Kansas State (April 7) and Texas A&M (April 8) in a busy week of Big 12 Conference action. All three matches will be held in Columbia at the MU Outdoor Tennis Complex.
