
Missouri Falls to Nebraska

Lincoln, Neb.-The University of Missouri women's soccer team falls to 6-4 on the season with a 1-2 Big 12 Conference record after dropping a 5-1 match to Nebraska. The Cornhuskers outshot the Tigers 23-to-14 including a 16-to-8 shot on goal differential.
Despite heroic efforts by goalkeeper Megan Duncan, who made 11 saves in the game, Nebraska was able to use speed and physicality to best the Tigers. Sophomore Adriene Davis scored Mizzou's only goal early in the second period on an assist by freshman Missy Peabody.
Missouri continues Big 12 action with a road game against Iowa State in Ames on Sun., Oct. 7 at 1:00 p.m.
