Tetelboin Homer Lifts Bushwood To Win

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Bushwood's Felipe Tetelboin hit a two-run home run in the first inning Tuesday to power Bushwood (MU Black) to a 3-2 win over the Gypsies (MU Gold) in game four of the Fall World Series. The victory clinched the series for Bushwood by a 3-1 margin. After losing the opener to the Gypsies (MU Gold), Bushwood has won the past three games.
While Tetelboin's home run gave Bushwood the lead, the pitching of Garrett Broshuis (Fr., Advance, Mo.) and Grant Hansen (Fr., Edmond, Okla.) did not allow the Gypsies to get much going offensively. Broshuis allowed only one walk and five hits in five innings to pick up the win while Hansen struck out four batters in four innings to record the save.
Abel Newton (Fr., Russellville, Ark.) struck out 10 batters in six innings for the Gypsies but suffered the loss. The Gypsies' Wes Fewell had three hits on the night.
Game five will be played Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
