Tailgate Mizzou a great new Tiger event!

Columbia, Mo. - The first annual Tailgate Mizzou sponsored by Boone County National Bank, a dinner and auction benefiting the Tiger Scholarship Fund will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2001 in the Hearnes Center Fieldhouse beginning at 5:30pm. Over 200 auction items have been secured and nearly 300 Tiger fans have already signed up to attend.

Both live and silent auction items will be available for bid from many different areas of interest. As of late Monday afternoon the following items have been secured: an Inside Look at Missouri Football, a chance for two people to attend a Missouri Basketball pre-game shoot-around with VIP seats for one game next season, meet the Missouri Basketball and Football teams, a framed autographed jersey of Justin Smith and Kareem Rush, numerous vacation getaways, including a week at a condo in Colorado along with tickets to the Missouri-Colorado football game in Boulder.

Additional items include VIP tickets and hotel accommodations to a James Taylor concert at Riverport Amphitheater, a tailgate dinner for ten before the first Missouri home football game of 2001 with a Lot A parking pass, a two week rental of a 28-foot RV, a progressive dinner in downtown Columbia, St. Louis Cardinals tickets in the KMOX Luxury Broadcast Suite, a number of golf outings at some of the premier public and private courses in Missouri, private dinners and plenty of Tiger merchandise, including some hard to find collector's items!

Single tickets for the event are $75 each or a reserved table of eight may be purchased for $1,000. A full buffet dinner will be provided as part of the cost as will full beverage service.
