COLUMBIA, Mo.- Missouri sophomore swimmer MATT FERRARELLI finished in 21st place this afternoon in the prelims of the 400 individual medley at the NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships in College Station, Texas. Ferrarelli, who entered the meet as the 13th seed, will not advance to tonight's finals.

Ferrarelli's time of 3:52.09 was well short of his Big 12 winning time of 3:47.38. Yesterday, Ferrarelli finished in 42nd place in the 200 individual medley. He will have one more opportunity on Saturday when he competes in the 200 backstroke. Preliminaries begin at noon.
