Two Missouri Tracksters Earn All-American Honors

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - University of Missouri track and field stars junior Ann Marie Brooks and senior Ashley Wysong capped the 2001 indoor track season with individual All-American honors.

Brooks placed second in the 3000-meter run posting a time of 9:12.43. It is her first career All-American honor. Wysong recorded a time of 2:10.37 and finished sixth in the 800m. This is Wysong's fifth overall career All-American and her third indoor.

Brooks and Wysong along with senior Sunny Gilbert and sophomore Kerry Hils combined to win the women's distance medley relay national championship on day one of competition with a time of 11:06.77.
