Columbia, MO - It was a tough weekend for the Missouri women's tennis team. After falling to the Baylor Bears on Friday, the Tigers fell to the Southwest Missouri State Bears on Saturday, 9-0. Missouri played hard in some singles sets and throughout doubles, but it was not enough to overcome mental mistakes on the part of the Tigers.
"We have lots of work to do," head coach Blake Starkey said. "We just aren't where we need to be right now. We are getting (the job) done in practice, but we are lacking something when it comes to competing against other teams."
