Tigers Win Second Straight

The Tigers picked up their second straight conference win as they defeated the Oklahoma Sooners 3-0 (15-11, 15-7, 15-6). The Tigers record improved to 14-17 overall and 5-13 in Big 12 play.
Missouri was led by three seniors, Jodi Maune, Renee Rosinski and Chandra Hopkins. Maune had 19 kills, hitting a .500 clip. Rosinski hit an impressive .579 clip with 12 kills. Hopkins served up four of Missouri's eight aces. Sophomore setter Heather Gerber had three solo blocks.
The Sooners were led by Holly McMillan and Sunny Spoonland who recorded 13 kills apiece. Oklahoma now falls to 9-21 overall and 3-15 in the Big 12.
Missouri will finish up regular season play next weekend. They will face No. 22 Texas A&M on Friday and No. 12 Texas on Saturday. Both matches will be played at 7:30 in Columbia.
