COLUMBIA, Mo.- Two University of Missouri baseball players were drafted in the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft on Wednesday afternoon. Rounds one through 22 were held on Wednesday afternoon while the final 23 rounds will be held on Thursday.

Right handed pitcher Ryan Jamison, a junior this past season, was selected in the 17th round by the Houston Astros. Jamison has the choice of whether to sign with Houston or return to Missouri for his senior season. Jamison is 18-6 in his career at Mizzou and has posted 10 career saves placing him in fourth place on the all-time Missouri list. His 71 career appearances also rank him fourth all-time at Missouri. Jamison also has an even 200 strikeouts for his career making him just the seventh pitcher in Missouri history to strikeout 200 hitters in a career.

Senior Justin Stine was also selected on Wednesday. The left-handed pitcher from West Plains, Mo. was chosen in the 22nd round by the Toronto Blue Jays. Stine completed his career with a 9-4 record this past season and is in second place on the MU career victories list with 28. Stine's 376 career innings pitched is a school record and he is also in second place all-time with 302 career strikeouts.

Stine was selected in the 19th round of last year's draft by the Anaheim Angels but decided to remain at Missouri for his senior season.
