COLUMBIA, Mo.- Junior left-hander Jody Harris was named the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week by the Big 12 Conference on Monday afternoon. Harris recorded his second straight complete game on Friday afternoon with a 7-0 shutout of No. 18 Texas Tech. Harris also out-pitched the Red Raiders' All-American Shane Wright who had not lost a game in over a year.

Harris pitched nine of innings of scoreless baseball and gave up just three hits while striking out seven and walking one. In his previous outing, Harris pitched a complete game against Notre Dame as he gave up just one run on five hits while striking out five in MU's 13-1 win.
