The Tigers never looked back as they added an insurance run in the third notched their first Big 12 win of 1999. Christy Caccavo improved to 9-4 with the pitching win and Stephanie Falk came in in the sixth to shut the door on OSU.

The Tigers got on the board early in the second game with a run in the second, but OSU fought back, scoring two runs of their own in the bottom of the third and knocking Christy Caccavo, who started both ends of the twinbill, out of the contest.
