COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Albert White had 10 of his 19 points in a 30-0 second half run as Missouri ran away with an 87-56 victory over Colorado Saturday.
The Buffaloes (12-13, 3-9 Big 12), which beat Missouri by 19 points on Jan. 16, took their first lead of the game at 37-36 with 18:18 to go. Then the bottom fell out.
White and Clarence Gilbert each had a pair of 3-pointers in the run that turned it into a 66-37 laugher for Missouri (18-5, 9-3), which had been a 11 1/2 point favorite despite the first result. The Tigers were 9-for-18 from 3-point range.
White, who made only two of his first eight shots, added 14 rebounds, five assists and three blocked shots. John Woods added 17 points off the bench and hit three 3-pointers. Keyon Dooling had 12 points and eight assists and Jeff Hafer, who had missed the previous three games with a thigh bruise, had 12 points.
Missouri coach Norm Stewart is 53-22 for his career against Colorado, but this was only his second victory in seven games against Ricardo Patton. The 82-63 loss at Colorado, which included a tantrum by Dooling, was the low point of the season for the Tigers and they've won six of seven since then.
The Tigers were 4-for-5 from 3-point range during the run and scored most of the points with the transition game. The highlights included a basket off the glass by John Woods after he overthrew Keyon Dooling on an alley oop and Dooling fed the ball back, and two free throws by Brian Grawer that made it 48-37 after Patton was whistled for a technical.
Jamahl Mosley, whose two free throws had given Colorado its only lead, finally ended the drought at nearly 7 1/2 minutes when he hit a free throw with 10:50 to go. During the collapse, Colorado missed 11 shots and two free throws and had three turnovers.
Early in the run, Missouri appeared to be in trouble when center Monte Hardge drew his fourth foul. The Tigers didn't miss him a bit.
Mosley and Kenny Price each had 14 points for Colorado, which has lost four of five and is 0-8 on the road. Walls added 11 points.
