Sarah joined the University of Missouri’s Mizzou Made staff in June 2016 as a tutor and mentor in the Enhanced Learning Program. Sarah began working as the Tutor/Mentor Coordinator in August 2017 and remained involved with the ELP program as a Learning Specialist, working with Men’s and Women’s Track and Field, Women’s Tennis and Gymnastics. Academic Coordination for Women’s Tennis was also added in 2021 and Sarah is working as their Academic Coordinator.
Prior to working at Mizzou, Sarah spent six years as the At-Risk Coordinator for Ballard High School in Huxley, IA. While in this position, she earned her Master of Science degree in School Counseling through Capella University. She also spent seven years working as a Substance Abuse Counselor for adolescents in Ames, IA. Sarah graduated from Iowa State University with her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
Sarah and her husband Nick have two children, Gracie and Owen. They reside in Ashland, MO.
