Casey Wieder currently serves as the facilities operator for the Hearnes Center, where he helps ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes for a wide range of athletic events. He also oversees gameday operations for volleyball, wrestling and indoor track, working to create a great experience for student athletes, coaches and fans.
He brings over a decade of experience in collegiate athletics to his role. In 2025, Casey served as the Interim Athletic Director at William Woods University after previously holding the position of Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Ottawa University as the Assistant Director of Athletic Enrollment, where he played a key role in recruiting and supporting student athletes. Casey earned his bachelor's degree in Communication/TV Broadcasting from Ottawa University in 2012 and later completed his M.A.Ed. in Sports Administration from Concordia University (TX) in 2017.
A former collegiate football player and golfer at Ottawa University, Casey brings a personal understanding of the student-athlete experience into his work every day. Outside of athletics, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Taylor, and their four children, Kenzie, Graham, Ben and Beau, who keep him just as busy off the field as he is on it.
