Alison Van Brunt joined the University of Missouri Athletics Department in November 2025 as a Compliance Coordinator. In her role, Van Brunt is responsible for oversight of NCAA Bylaw 11 (Conduct and Employment of Athletics Personnel) and Bylaw 16 (Awards, Benefits, and Expenses for Enrolled Student-Athletes), while also serving as the Athletics Housing Liaison. She works closely with coaches, staff and student-athletes to ensure compliance with NCAA, SEC and institutional regulations.
Prior to joining Mizzou, Van Brunt served as a Graduate Compliance Intern at Vanderbilt University from January to October 2025, gaining hands-on experience in NCAA compliance operations within an SEC athletics department. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Leadership and Organizational Management from Austin Peay State University, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2022, and a Master of Science in Recreation and Sport Administration from Western Kentucky University, completed summa cum laude in 2025. She also earned an Intercollegiate Sports Administration Certification from Western Kentucky University.
Originally from Driggs, Idaho, Van Brunt is married to her husband, Brodie, and together they have two children, Brielle and Jameson. As a family, they enjoy going on adventures and trying new things whenever possible.
