Indoor Track - Chelsie competed in three meets during the indoor season, starting with the Missouri Invitational where she was tenth in the 60m dash (7.88) and 12th in the 200m (26.60)...She was eighth in her first-ever 60m hurdles competition during the Tiger Invitational, and also placed fifth in the 60m dash (7.86)...Chelsie ended her season at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge, where she was third in the 60m dash with a season's-best 7.69.
Outdoor Track - Chelsie's sole meet of the season was the Vanderbilt Black & Gold Invitational, where she was a member of the third-place 4x400m team, and placed sixth as an individual in the 100m dash (12.36), 23rd in the 200m.

Indoor Track - Chelsie's sophomore campaign kicked off with the Missouri Opener, where she cruised to a win in the 60m dash with a 7.75 crossing...She followed that up with another win, this time at the Badger Open, where she crossed first in the 60m dash (7.81)...She was fourth in the 60m dash during the Wisconsin v. Missouri Dual...Clocked through in 7.85 for 60m at the Rod McCravy Memorial for 13th in the field...She was through in 7.79 at the Armory Collegiate Invitational and 7.77 at the Tyson Invitational...Chelsie closed her season with a win at home and a season's best 7.68 in the 60m dash.
Outdoor Track - Chelsie's first meet of the season was the Crimson Tide Invitational, where she crossed in 25.06 for the 200m dash to take seventh, and 12.32 for ninth in the 100m dash...She took to the track for the 100m-200m double again during the Missouri Relays, finishing in fourth (11.93w) and eighth (24.71w), respectively...At the SIUE Gateway Invitational, Chelsie was seventh across in the line for the 100m dash (12.21), and 14th for the 200m (25.47)...She closed her season with a new 100m dash PR at the Tom Botts Invitational, winning on her home track with a 12.07 crossing...She also placed third in the 200m dash with a season's-best 24.77.

Indoor Track - In her first season sporting the black and gold, Chelsie took down the Missouri School Record in the 60m dash, hitting 7.56 to surpass the previous all-time best, 7.60, held by Avis Evans since 2001...She had come close to that mark earlier in the season with her debut performance at the Missouri invitational, where she crossed in 7.71 for the 60m stretch to take second overall...She hit a season's best 25.77 in the 200m dash at the Kentucky Rod McCravy Memorial Meet...Chelsie ended her season at the SEC Championships, where she competed in the 60m dash.
Outdoor Track - Chelsie kicked off her outdoor campaign with a series of wins at the Missouri Relays, crossing in first for the 100m and 200m dash, as well as the 4x100m relay...She was a part of the second-place 4x100m relay team at the Arkansas Spring Invitational...She also ran a season's best mark of 24.45 at the Spring Invite to take fourth overall...She earned a best time of 12.17 in the 100m dash at the Ole Miss Invitational, good for ninth in the field...Once again, Chelsie ended her season at the SEC Championships, where she was a member of the seventh-place 4x100m team.

Chelsie competed at Elizabeth Seton HS for coach Omar Wilikins...She also ran for the Glenarden Track Club...She helped her team to four conference titles from 2009-12 and was a member of five Maryland Girls Top 25 relay teams (indoor 4x400m and 4x200m, outdoor 4x100m, 4x200m, and 4x400m)...As an individual, Chelsie was a Washington Post Honorable Mention and PG County Gazette First Team All-County (2011-12)...She was Running Maryland All-State Honorable Mention in the 100m and 200m dashes (2011), and a five-time Maryland Girls Top 25 (indoor 55m, 60m, and 200m, and outdoor 100m and 200m).
PERSONAL
Parents are John and Renee, brother Corey...Born May 18, 1994 in Newport News, VA...Older brother, Corey, played basketball for Bowie State University (2006-09)...Father, John, played basketball for Hampton University (1982-86)...Chelsie enjoys participating in pageants, and was a Miss Maryland Teen USA State Pageant Finalist (2011-12)...She also won Miss Photogenic and earned the Interview Award...She was recognized with the Most Improved Award (2009), the Carlos Alexander Leadership Award (2012), and the Coach Award (2012)...She is studying Communications.
