Indoor Track - Steadily improved during the course of the season in the Pole Vault beginning with a 3.45m at the Illinois-Iowa Border Battle and eventually recording a personal-best 4.22m at the SEC Championships.
Outdoor Track - Finished first at the Tom Botts Invitational with a 4.06m in the Pole Vault … Posted a personal-best 4.22m in the Pole Vault at the NCAA west Prelims.

Indoor Track - Alyssa started her indoor season with a pair of second-place finishes in the pole vault, hitting 3.65m (11-11.75) first at the Border Battle and then again at the Missouri Invitational...She improved upon that bar during the Rod McCravy Memorial Meet, taking 14th with a top height of 3.73m (12-2.75)...She was 12th during the Armory Track Invitational with yet another season's best, 3.85m (12-7.50)...Alyssa was third at home during the Tiger Invitational, hitting a top bar of 3.96m (12-11.75)...She was 13th at the Tyson Invitational (3.79m // 12-5.25) before returning home to win the Missouri Collegiate Challenge with a new PR, and the No. 2 mark in school history, 4.06m (13-3.75)...Alyssa closed her season with a ninth-place finish at the SEC Championships (4.03m // 13-2.50).
Outdoor Track - Alyssa saw more PR's fall during the outdoor season as she moved up into the No. 3 spot in the Mizzou Record Books and qualified for her first NCAA West Preliminary Round competition...The season started down in Texas, where she marked in a pair of 3.85m (12-7.50) bars at the Texas Relays and Bobcat Invitational, placing tenth and seventh, respectively...She hit a new PR, and the third-best bar in school history, the following week, coming in 13th at the John McDonnell Invitational with a jump of 4.05m (13-3.50)...Alyssa won the SIUE Gateway Invitational with a 4.00m (13-1.50) performance...She was 14th at the SEC Championships (3.86m // 12-8) before ending her season at the NCAA Championships West Preliminary Round, where she closed in 37th overall (3.84m // 12-7.25).

Indoor Track - Alyssa had an exciting debut season in the black and gold, culminating in a No. 3 All-Time Top Ten mark for the pole vault...She kicked the season off with a second-place finish at the Missouri Opener, vaulting 3.65m (11-11.75) to claim her first slot in the Mizzou Record Books at No. 8 All-Time...She surpassed that mark at the season's final home meet, finishing fourth at the Collegiate Challenge with a final bar of 3.87m (12-8.25)...Alyssa closed her season representing the Tigers at the SEC Championships in College Station, Tx., where she leapt to a PR of 3.97m (13-0.25), taking 13th in the field.
Outdoor Track - Alyssa continued her climb through the record books during the outdoor season, landing at No. 4 All-Time during her first meet of the season...She placed third at the Bobcat Invitational with a top bar of 3.85m (12-7.50)...That mark was bested by her top jump of the season the following weekend, where she ended at 3.87m (12-8.25) for seventh during the Crimson Tide Invitational...Alyssa closed her season, once again, at the SEC Championships.

Pole Vault - 3.90m (12-9)
Alyssa competed for Seneca HS under coaches Kim Sedlock and Jim Johnson...She broke Seneca High School records in both the pole vault and 100m hurdles, and also jumped to a new IHSA 1A State Record of 12-9 in 2011...She was a four-time IHSA State Championships qualifier in the pole vault, and placed sixth in 2009, second in 2010, and won the state title in 2011 and 2012...In the 100m hurdles, Alyssa qualified for the State Championships in 2011, taking fifth, and again in 2012 where she finished in third...She also qualified for the 2011 State Championships in the triple jump, earning eighth place...She was All-Conference (2009-12), I-8 All-Academic (2011-12), was recognized as the Morris Daily Herald Female Track Athlete of the Year (2010-12), and the Ottawa Daily Times Female Track Athlete of the Year (2010-12).
PERSONAL
Parents are Mike and Laurie...Alyssa has three older and two younger brothers...Born January 12, 1994 in Morris, Ill...Also competed in diving and basketball during high school...In the pool, Alyssa was a Conference Champion (2010-11), Sectional Champion (2009, 2011), a State Championships qualifier (2009-11), All-State finisher (2011), and holds pool records at Morris and Lockport High Schools...On the court, Alyssa was a member of the Regional Champion team (2011-12), and held the highest points-per-game for Morris (2011).
