Dr. Scotta Morton is the Assistant AD of Mental Performance and Staff Development at the University of Missouri. Dr. Morton leads a team of three mental performance coaches providing performance enhancement services to athletes, coaches, and support staff in a comprehensive and integrated sport psychology delivery program. Her work is grounded in strong personal/team development and holistic well-being. She was named Certified Consultant of the Association of Applied Sport Psychology (CMPC-AASP) in 2014. For her efforts in delivering quality mental performance services to athletes and coaches, Dr. Morton has been honored Coach of the Year at the annual Roars Awards at Mizzou, Chancellor’s Committee Tribute To University of Missouri Women Award, WIN for Columbia Mentor of the Year, University of Missouri Board of Curator’s Distinguished Guest Presentation, and AASP Early Career Practitioner Award.
