Sam Lawson returns for his third season at Mizzou as the Director of Performance Analysis. With the Tigers, Lawson handles game and practice film and coordinating video exchange.
Lawson came to Mizzou from New Zealand, where he served as Performance Analysis for the Napier City Rovers of the Central Premier League. With the Rovers, he provided game and post-match analysis for players and coaches.
He also spent time as a Performance Analyst with Hawkes Bay United in Napier, New Zealand from December 2012 - March 2013. Before his move to New Zealand, Lawson worked as the Academy Video Analyst at the Ipswich Town Football Club in Ipswich, Suffolk, England.
Lawson spent the first 16 years of his life in Germany before moving to the United Kingdom in 2007. He earned a degree in Sport and Exercise Science from University Campus Suffolk in 2012 and is working towards a master's degree at Mizzou.
