Shannon ran for Lake Braddock High School in Burke, Va. under the direction of Mike Mangan and Jason Switzer … TRACK & FIELD … Set a national high school record in the Indoor Distance Medley Relay in 2016 and was honored as an All-American in that event … 2017 National Distance Medley Relay Outdoor Champion … Achieved all-state honors in 1600m Outdoor (2016 & 2017), 800m Outdoor (2017), 1600m Indoor (2017) and 1000m Indoor (2016) … Won her first two state titles in 2017 in the 4x8 Outdoor and Indoor events … Honored by the Washington Post with All-Met Honorable Mention three times during the 2016 indoor season and 2017 indoor and outdoor seasons.
