Cross Country - Cain made his cross country debut as a Tiger at the Forest Park XC Festival, navigating the 6000m course in 20:16.0 to take 51st in the field...Took to the line for his first 8000m at the John Flamer Invitational, taking 20th in 27:46.70...He improved on that time in his final meet of the season, timing through in 27:22.20 at the Bradley Pink Classic.
Indoor Track - Cain opened up the indoor season at the Border Battle where he placed third in the 600m (1:21.82)...He went on to place third, once again, at the Missouri Invitational, crossing in 1:56.28 for the 800m...Traveled to New York City to compete at the Armory Track Invitational, timing through in 2:32.18 for the 1000m...Earned a new 800m PR at the Tyson Invitational, crossing in 1:52.36...Closed the regular season at home with the Missouri Collegiate Challenge, taking first in the 600m run (1:21.87)...Cain closed the indoor season at the SEC Championships where he competed in the 800m (1:54.09).
Outdoor Track - Cain kicked off the outdoor season with a win, placing first in the 800m at the Vanderbilt Black & Gold Invitational with a new PR of 1:51.83...He went on to best that time at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival, timing through in 1:51.71 for third overall...Placed sixth at the John McDonnell Invitational in the 800m (1:51.73)...He was a part of the 13th-place DMR and 4x800m teams at the Drake Relays...Cain closed his regular season with yet another win, crossing first in the 800m at the Tom Botts Invitational with his third PR of the season, 1:51.07...Ended his outdoor season at the SEC Championships with a fourth and final PR, taking 17th in the 800m in 1:50.84.

Indoor Track - Cain began his Tiger career at home with a third-place finish in the 600-meter run at the Missouri Opener (1:24.66)...He focused on the 800-meter run for the remainder of the season, hitting a PR at the Collegiate Challenge where he won the event in 1:55.95.
Outdoor Track - Raced in the 800-meter run during the outdoor season, starting with the Crimson Tide Invitational in Tuscaloosa, Ala., where he crossed in 1:56.56...He took home a win a few weeks later at the SIUE Gateway Invitational, crossing in 1:54.95...Was a member of the eighth-place 4x800-meter relay team at the Drake Relays...Cain ended his season with an 800-meter PR, placing second at the Tom Botts Invitational with a final time of 1:53.12.
