Indoor Track – Began his senior campaign by finishing third in the weight throw at the Border Battle (Jan. 7), posting a throw of 17.32m (56-10) … Finished runner-up in the weight throw at the Missouri Invitational (Jan. 20) with a mark of 16.90m (55-5) … Posted a then-personal record in the weight throw at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge (Feb. 17) with a throw of 18.96m (62-2.5) … Set his personal record in the weight throw at the SEC Indoor Championships (Feb. 24), finishing 14th with a throw of 19.13m (62-9.25).

Indoor Track - Ahren's sophomore season was highlighted by his first trip to the SEC Championships for the weight throw...It kicked off, though, with a new PR in the event at the Border Battle, where he tossed 17.56m (57-7.50) to take third...He was fourth at the Missouri Invitational (17.31m // 56-9.50) before traveling to the prestigious Rod McCravy Memorial Meet, where he was 22nd in the field...Hit a new top mark of 17.96m (58-11.25) to take ninth at the Armory Track Invitational...Returned home to earn his first event win as a Tiger, and a new PR of 18.63m (61-1.50) during the Tiger Invitational...Closed his regular season at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge with a second-place finish (18.51m // 60-8.75)...Ahren ended his indoor season at the SEC Championships, where he was 15th in the weight throw field (18.57m // 60-11.25).
Outdoor Track - Ahren had another PR season during his second year in the black and gold, ending with another SEC Championships competition...He continued focusing on the hammer throw, starting with the Bobcat Invitational at Texas State, where he was 12th with a personal best mark of 54.89m (180-1)...He followed that with a fifth-place finish at the John McDonnell Invitational before besting his personal record with a third-place finish at the SIUE Gateway Invitational (54.92m (180-2)...Earned a new PR in the event at his final meet of the regular season, taking third at the Tom Botts Invitational with a top toss of 57.45m (188-6)...Ahren closed his season with a 14th-place finish at the SEC Championships (55.48m // 182-0).

Indoor Track - Ahren kicked off his career as a Tiger with five meets during the indoor season, starting with the Missouri Opener where he was sixth in the weight throw...He improved steadily in the weight throw throughout the season, tossing 14.95m (49-0.75) to take second at the Badger Indoor Open, and placed fifth at the Missouri v. Wisconsin Dual...Was 12th at the Missouri Invitational with another best mark of 15.33m (50-3.50)...He ended the season with a PR, marking in at 16.28m (53-5) to take third at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge.
Outdoor Track - Ahren suited up for another five meets during the outdoor season, competing in the hammer throw throughout...He kicked the season off at the SIUE Cougar Classic, where he took fourth in the hammer field (49.70m // 163-1)...He improved upon that mark at the Missouri Relays with a PR toss of 53.09m (174-2), good for third...Placed seventh at the SIUE Gateway Invitational (50.39m // 165-4) and fifth at the ESU Mid-Week Classic (52.29m // 171-7)...Ahren closed his season at the Tom Botts Invitational, where he placed fifth (50.92m // 167-1).
