Indoor Track - Parker kicked off his sophomore indoor campaign at the Wisconsin v. Missouri Dual, where he was second in the pole vault with a new top mark of 4.55m (14-11)...He would continue surpassing that mark throughout the season, including at the following Rod McCravy Memorial Meet, where he was 17th in the field with a final bar of 4.77m (15-7.75)...Jumped 4.79m (15-8.50) to take fourth at the Missouri Invitational...Earned a new PR of 4.86m (15-11.25) at the Tyson Invitational, taking ninth in the field...Closed his regular season with a fourth-place finish at home during the Missouri Collegiate Challenge (4.83m // 15-10) before competing at the SEC Championships.

Parker competed for Mill Valley HS under coach Ryan Hays...As a team, they were Kaw Valley League Champions (2009-12) and the 2010 Regional Champions...As an individual, Parker broke the League and Mill Valley HS records in the pole vault...He was a two-time League Champion (2011-12), the 2012 Regional Champion, and a two-time KSASAA Championships qualifier (2010, 2012)...He was fifth at the 2010 KSASAA Championships, and second in 2012...Parker was recognized as part of the All-Area Team by the Lawrence Journal World in 2012.
