Marie Siler-Hardin joined the University of Missouri’s Sports Medicine staff in Fall 2021. 

Her main responsibility will be providing athletic training services to the Mizzou Softball program. Prior to her time in Columbia, she served as the athletic trainer for the Auburn University volleyball team for six years and soccer team for a year.

Prior to Auburn, she was at Hofstra University for six years, working with women’s soccer, softball and women’s basketball. She also served as an adjunct professor within the athletic training program.

She completed her master’s degree in athletic training and biomechanics at the University of Toledo in the spring of 2008.  During that time, she served as the graduate assistant athletic trainer for the Rockets women’s soccer team. Marie also graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training.

Siler-Hardin is certified by the Board of Certification, licensed as an Athletic Trainer by the Board of Healing Arts in the state of Missouri, and a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. She is also Upper Extremity Muscle Energy Certified, Blow Flow Restriction Certified, and Graston 2 certified.

The native of Harrisonburg, Virginia lives in Columbia with her husband, Steve.
