Jeff Baker joined the Mizzou Sports Medicine Staff in October 2020 and works primarily with the Mizzou track & field and cross country teams.

Prior to coming to Columbia, he spent a little over two years at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, N.C. While at LR, Baker worked with men’s soccer, men’s and women’s lacrosse, women’s triathlon, and track & field/Cross Country.

In March 2020, he attained his certification in dry needling. Baker also holds Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Baker received his bachelor of science in athletic training from Alma College in 2015 and his master’s degree in sport education from Gardner-Webb University in 2018. He is a Board-Certified Athletic Trainer and a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
