Alex Williams a native of Mattoon, Ill., completed his Master’s Degree in Health Education and Promotion from Mizzou in 2015. Alex went on to work at the Missouri Orthopedic Institute from 2015-2016 with the athletic training coverage of Club Sports at the University of Missouri. Alex returned to the Mizzou athletics sports medicine staff in the fall of 2016 overseeing the coverage of the Mizzou Cross Country and Track and Field Programs. Williams, a graduate of Eastern Illinois University obtained his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training in the spring of 2013. Williams interned with the New England Patriots in the summer of 2012 assisting in day-to-day operations as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer.
Alex and his wife Jen married in the summer of 2016, and are expecting their first child in May 209, they reside in Columbia.
