Christian Norton joined Mizzou Made Academics in June 2018, as a graduate assistant for the Enhanced Learning Program (ELP). Prior to Mizzou Norton served scholar-athletes as a Special Education Teacher and Coach in Texas and Georgia. Norton’s previous posts include stints with Houston Independent School District, Atlanta Public Schools, and University of Georgia.
 A native Georgian, Norton earned a BBA in Economics at the University of Georgia in 2010. While at UGA Norton was a defensive back on the football team where he earned SEC Academic Honor Roll, Director’s Honor Roll, Billy Payne Award and Iron Man Award.  He was a member of 2008 Sugar Bowl Champion team that went 11-2 and finished ranked #2 nationally, and the 2009 Capital One Bowl Champion team that went 10-3.
Norton also volunteered as a student assistant for the UGA Track & Field Team. Â His focus was on field event training, working with SEC Champions, NCAA Champions, and Olympians.
Following graduation Norton served as Ticket Operations Graduate Assistant and earned a MS in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Management and Policy from UGA in 2012.
Norton is currently pursuing a MEd in Educational, School, and Counseling Psychology.
